The people of Catalunya and Spain have a reputation for hospitality. The economy is based in tourism and in providing meeting hospitality. It offers a safe destination, a richness of first class hotel, resort and conference facilities, beautiful geography and lovely climate.


Barcelona and Tarragona are a convenient travel destination. Within a few hours of travel delegates from countries on both sides of the Atlantic can be here.  ICC 2023 can host a broad cross section of the ICF Family. Delegates in Europe and elsewhere may choose to arrive by air, train or car.


The country offers an easy entry process for most foreign nationals. Spain is a member of both the European Union and Schengen zone. Over 50 countries can enter Spain without an additional visa. Visa requirements for others are straightforward.


There is a strong camping history and culture that exists broadly throughout Spain and, particularly, in the Catalunya Region.

ANEACAMP brings together camps, outdoor education centres, youth hostels and other organizations into a strong voice for camp education in the country.


Spanish cuisine is one of the world’s most popular cuisines. The variety of food, cooking methods, with excellent foods and drinks create a wealth of flavors with every table arrangement.
